What? You don't seem like a moron but who the heck would just be OK with not being provided detailed information about a tumor removed from his or her body?
The surgeon had informed me that she had removed sufficient material from my lung to feel assured that all the cancer cell were taken out. Follow up CT scans every 6 months are what concern me now, next one will be September. Meantime I am keeping fit reasonably well mentally and physically. I think it helps not to bother the doc asking too many questions because then I have less to worry about. I been digging up a lot of material to inform myself about cancer; lung cancer in particular.

Before the operation, to repair a leaking valve, my cardiologist's comment was, "I'm surprised you can walk across the street." Yet at the time I was biking 3 miles to work and back again. My overall very good health compensated. But yes now, three years later my general well being is better.
Very good to hear. We may have talked about this story, Whistle, it sounds familiar. But anyway, I'm glad to be reminded and I hope it reminds you that you are pretty lucky. With those good genes and stuff.
I remember the day exactly because it was the day my grandson was born on November 15th 2014. I got in a car wreck and broke 16 ribs. I got a few x-rays at the hospital were they admitted me. ;O
November 10th huh? No wonder I love you. ;D Yes it ouched. But Im brave. And they gave me Heroin. I got to press a release button to administer it myself for the first day. I pressed it alot, even when I didnt need it. ;)))))
