Why can't you just keep your political opinions to yourself?

Have you ever posted a question here that you were sure would receive a wide range of controversial replies?

Why be on a site like this if you are going to keep any opinions to yourself?  A very strange stand for someone who supposedly is in education.

Again, if I have to listen to tilde talk, maybe I can get people thinking about the state of our nation.  It is in the toilet.    Not my opinion.  FACT.

Well, this is meant to be funny?  I didn't write it or it would be much funnier.

Was going to, but I knew there would be brutal fighting about whether toilet paper should be under or over. I just couldn't risk it.
