Do you listen to holiday music during the rest of the year?

I certainly listen to Dwight Yoakam's song and album often during the year; to me it's simply too good to wait until only Christmas.

"Come On Christmas"   Dwight Yoakam

~ sit back, listen and get ready to get depressed!! Oh, yeah!!! Nobody does "Sad" like Dwight!!

I don't blame you at all, pearl!
    :)

Dwight's song is one of the very few I listen to all year round.

I have an album almost just like this! It was a favorite when I was younger and I still like it!
    :)

I don't know if your answer is in jest or not but it doesn't matter to me. I'm glad you answered, Mr. Bromide! Thanks! This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at July 9, 2017 6:16 PM MDT

You made my night! Thanks, Mr. Bromide!

Oh, yeah --  Enya's holiday "And Winter Came . . ." CD!! I listen to it a lot, too! This is gorgeous! I especially like the simplicity also of the song about "One Toy Soldier."

Welby, this song?  Out of all the Christmas songs you decide this is the one you go for?  You're right.  Depressing.  lol.   I have to tell the truth, no. I don't listen to holiday music all year long.  If I could avoid it at holiday time, I would.

    I completely understand your stance!

And Dwight's song I posted? I know! SO depressing but I love it! Ha!
    :)

Give a listen to ALF's answer --  he posted Enya's "And Winter Came . . ." Well, that's if you're an Enya fan.
    :)

I will share the holiday song I hate the most --  "Rockin' around the Christmas Tree" I hate it! I'll walk out of the stores with you if we hear that one playing in December!

Listening to Christmas music from September to December already makes me want to end it all.

    Ha! I understand, LyricalOne!
    :)

If you haven't already, maybe give the Dwight Yoakam song I posted in my question a listen --  it is unlike ANY Christmas song I've ever heard, ha!
    :) And I love it!

    No.

It's hard enough to hear it when it does play.

I do like this song, too! And, believe it or not, it is only at this moment that I found out The Eagles sing it.
    :)
I can be really out of the loop at times. For years, even.
