DID you know that the medulla oblongata is the "mouth of God"?

According to Paramahansa Yogananda:

Jesus said Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

The "word" is life energy or cosmic vibratory force.  The "mouth of God" is the medulla oblongata in the posterior part of the brain, tapering off into the spinal crd.  This, the most vital part of of the human body,  and it is the divine entrance ("mouth of God") for the "word" or life energy by which man is sustained.  In the Hindu and Christian scriptures Aum or Amen is known as the "word".

It is that Perfect Power alone that heals; all external methods of stimulation only cooperate with the life energy and are valueless without it.

    #Mouth of GOD.

Imagine the deluge of Bible quotes this will encourage.

The medulla oblongata first developed in fish about 505 million years ago.
Maybe that is where the force is carried that enables the placebo/nocebo to be effective,  invents the recipes for reptiles,  insects, plants to make their toxins and all the other things that only an invisible force can do.

When an irresistible force such as you
meets an undeniable moment like this
you'll find out just as sure as we live

    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give

(I am going from memory... here are the real lyrics)

When an irresistible force such as you
Meets an old immovable object like me
You can bet just as sure as you live

    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give

When an irrepressible smile such as yours
Warms an old implacable heart such as mine
Don't say no because I insist

    Somewhere, somehow
    Someone's gotta be kissed

So, en garde, who knows what the fates might have in store
    From their vast mysterious sky
I'll try hard ignorin' those lips that I adore
But how long can anyone try?

Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight it with all of our might
Chances are some heavenly star-spangled night
We'll find out just as sure as we live

    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give

Fight, fight, fight it with all of your might
Chances are that some heavenly star-spangled night
We'll find out just as sure as we live

    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give

    Something's gotta give
    Something's gotta give

    Aw, let's tear it up

Well, sort of...., but my approach of choice is classical Western.

Whether one acknowledges it or not, God's immanence is necessary for existence.

Immanence refers to those philosophical and metaphysical theories of divine presence in which the divine encompasses or is manifested in the material world.

Immanence is usually applied in monotheistic, pantheistic, pandeistic, or panentheistic faiths to suggest that the spiritual world permeates the mundane.

    (Various quotes from the internet.)

That is so lush and beautiful, Tom.  I feel like the paltry evidence I put into this question, does not do Yogananda justice.  Those are but affirmations of his with brief explanations.  He is most majestic when describing the wonders you just mentioned.  Not better, because you explained it perfectly.  But just as worthy of attention.

    Thanks, Tom.  Very nice.
