    It works, but extremely few people ever notice polls and/or respond to them, mainly because their section doesn't appear on the main page to let members know there's a new one. Also, I've learned (by posting a question asking why more people don't respond to polls) that even more annoying notifications follow you when you respond to a poll, and folks ain't got no time for that.

  • They appear on the main page for me, right under the most current questions. It could also be that there is no way to opt out of getting a notice every time someone replies. That is the main reason I don't answer them.
