It depends on what they have to offer.

I cannot wait to see what Trump does.

People go to his hotels. I can see you in one and at the library. At least outside of it demonstrating. On the news. This post was edited by O-uknow at July 12, 2017 8:35 AM MDT

Me?  I go there?  If you ever have proof that that ever happened?  I will give you some Fake Trump money to go with it.

You would if one was nearby. People treat it like a museum and different events happen there. You might find yourself going to an event that just so happens to be at one of those libraries.

Not likely as I never go to 'events' and we have no Prez libraries nearby.

It is not that the presidents want them or pay for them. Just the traditional gift to give to a president when he finish his term(s), much like your boss is likely to give you a wristwach when you get to old to work and have to retire.

I wonder what Trump will get. This post was edited by JakobA the unAmerican. at July 12, 2017 9:01 AM MDT

  • Provided the president's library is a normal library and doesn't consist solely of books about said president.

I painted the iron fence around a President's library. My cousin skillfully repainted the President's daughter's doll house. My uncle and father painted and wallpapered the inside of the President's library.  This was in the 60's.  It was a President from the 1800's. Can you guess which one?

Because libraries were where people went to learn ... and for entertainment ... before the internet and video games.

If *I* were President, I would have a Presidential Arcade.  lol

Yes, I would visit one.  I would not know what to expect to find.  It might be that one is all I would want to visit.

I visited the Jimmy Carter Library in Atlanta. Through words, photographs and artifacts, it tells the story of his life. I found the tale of a man rising from basically nothing to the highest office in the land to be quite fascinating.

I also visited the JFK Library in Boston. Same idea, without the "rising from nothing" part. But the story of the Kennedys is fascinating in itself.

Trump Library should be fun. No books, just lots of tacky decor, vodka and slot machines.
