Well, I've mostly used it as a study tool for massage techniques for school for the last year.
I use it for meditation tapes. I use it a lot for a variety of things. It seems like next to the net itself, youtube covers a lot of information territory and I most always listen to a lot of music from there since it is so handy.
Mostly these days I search for Anime, or else do a search related to some forum question I do not know enough to give a good answer to. Only a few of those latter searches go to YouTube though, they more often go to Wikipedia where a lot of knowledge have been collected.
I thought YouTubers were Millenials who were "content creators". Is that what you mean? If you mean regular non-Millenials, then I usually watch movie reviews, like Red Letter Media. I also listen to a lot of music on YouTube, even if it is mostly audio only. I don't want to pay for Spotify, plus most of the stuff I listen to is old or on Bandcamp anyway. So it doesn't get taken down that much and I'm not *really* "stealing". Once in a while I will watch an old movie that has been uploaded in usually poor quality. I guess that is "wrong", but usually it is some old movie and I doubt anyone is counting on it for royalties except old movie producers that have enough money. Maybe. I don't know. Oh, I watch Adam the Woo sometimes and sometimes Dan Bell's "Dead Mall Series" because it reminds me I am an ancient useless dinosaur.

That is great Mr. Bromide! Don't forget you can use the Spotify free version, playing the music you like. Youtube is what you want it to be. Our minds can delve into a past of memories or current trends. I still enjoy the full versions of "The Honey Mooners". You tube is for everyone who enjoys past and current events. You enjoy!
