It depends where you GO camping.

If you are going with me?  All you need is a hammock, and maybe there will be one already there.

I'm into total hassel-free comfort.   You jump in water to bathe, you kill fish to eat, you cook with wood for fire, and you just chill man.

  • That kind of camping looks good to me,  yesss! I have a hammock in my back yard though ... and have river in my back yard . Someone's trying convince me go middle of woods where have to hang  food in bags in trees so don't get attacked by freakin bears. I see no enjoyment in that .

No.  My 20's are over.  I'm not that adventurous, I like a shower and clean clothes for starters and a good night's sleep is always lovely.

  • My twenties are  over too :) I was way less into outdoors In  my twenties than in my 30's :) I was all about city and condo  life's back then :) I can see my 20 year old  self curling up in a ball and dying over having to spend hours mowing lawn at my house now :)

I like camping. I'd prefer to have an RV or camper- access to a bathroom, some kind cushion to sleep on, something to keep creepy crawlies at bay... I tolorate tent camping in small doses, though. The fresh air, view of stars, campfire and campfire cooking. It's peaceful. I'm sure if I lived out in the country somewhere, I'd appreciate camping a lot less, but I'm stuck in the dirty dusty desert- in the city, no less. Blech.

When I was in college, I liked camping in my backyard so I can enjoy the night sounds and be forced to study and plan research papers with no electronics to distract me.

  • Yeah , in backyard sounds good , you still have access to running water , and wifi. Incase of electronic device withdrawals :)

Me, my wife and another couple would often go tent camping at primitive campgrounds. We made our own fun.

The fun and enjoyment is in having sex in a tent in the middle of the woods without another soul around. It's pretty f*cking awesome.

Okay, yes, I'll admit, sometimes there can be drawbacks to it.

I prefer a camper. Bathroom, air conditioning, and a mattress.
