    We live a fairly safe area from natural hazards. We have had a few tornadoes over the decades, but the are rare.

    Florida is the lightning capital of the USA.  People get struct by lightning inside their homes near windows.  It's a serious threat here.

    Savannah River. Tourists are always getting drunk and falling in the river because there are no barriers to keep them safe from tumbling in when if they lean over too far. Duh. :+
