WHAT IF all presidential candidates had to survive a tough Boot Camp to see which among them had the "right stuff" to be prez?

IN ADDITION to physical testing the PRESIDENTIAL WANNABE Boot Camp would include tests of character/intellect/compassion/truthfulness/moral courage. Survivors would then go on to campaign and compete. How many wannabes could survive that comprehensive multidimensional test?

    Interesting idea, but that physical part would bring about complaints from physically handicapped folks.  And FDR woulda failed that part.

    Physical testing would simply favor younger people who in general lack wisdom and are unfit to lead.

    Intelligence testing is ok but not particularly relevant. A certain intelligence is generally present in anyone who could rise to be president anyway. Wisdom is what really qualifies a person to lead, not intelligence. There are people of average intelligence who would make excellent presidents. There are geniuses who would make very poor ones. 

    Wisdom, character, compassion, truthfulness and moral courage can't be measured because they are too subjective. It's just a matter of opinion.

    The system would simply rig the test to favor its own puppets.
