You cannot protect against every exigency. If the Founding Fathers had anticiated a Trump how would they have protected us against him?

How would they have constructed The Constitution to eliminate the possibility that a Trump would be elected? Would they have required psychiatric examinations, brain scans, personality tests, Rorschach tests of all  candidates? What could they have done way back when if they could have ever foreseen this possibility? Crystal ball in hand, what would YOU have done?

    I don't think they had many worries about keeping people out of office back then.

    What does the Constitution say about hiring the mentally handicapped or emotionally retarded?

    Is that even in there?

    Did they have firing squads then Spunky? Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! Did you know that 32% of Trump voters don't believe that DonJohnJr spoke to any Russian at all and 24% of them aren't sure? This despite the fact that DonJohnJr admitted it? This came out in a Public Policy Poll recently. What does that tell you about the "thought processes" of the Trump voter? AARRGGHH!  :(

    They probably did have firing squads.  How did they kill Benedict Arnold?  As for what the Trump voters believe, they are deplorable and I don't view them as patriots - I view them as ignorant bullies, just like Trump.  Happy Monday. :)
