I truly don't think that it's ever gross as such... but it remains a fact that the bigger the age difference the harder it is to make it work.. it can work.. but it's more difficult.. My last sorta almost bf was 21 years younger than me... he loved me, loves me still and he would have forgone having kids and the disapproval of his family..  but I didn't want that for him.. We were both so very different in terms of life stage and expectations...

I think if a couple really loves each other no age difference is gross. My husband was 17 years older than me and we were married 34 years. He passed away last Halloween, which i expected would happen because he was older than me, but he was in poor health so he passed prematurely.

I just don't see anything gross about it because there are a lot of people in my family with age differences with their spouses.  I'm 23 and my husband is 41.  My dad is 60 and my step-mom is 45. This post was edited by Livvie at July 23, 2017 5:15 PM MDT

I see no problem. I know a 65 year old man who loves a 35 year old woman.
