I was around 13 and we were out in the boat and stopped at a marina to buy a snack. I got a Big Time candy bar. We went back out on the river and after I had taken a bite of my candy bar I looked down and there were worms, MOVING worms. I leaned over the side and vomited right then. To this day I do not eat if there is not enough light for me to see what is going into my mouth. If I'm traveling and want to eat something at night (I like to drive at night) , I leave the passenger side map light on. Once is enough! Totally gross
When I was a teenager I grabbed an open beer at a house party that I thought was mine and took a big drink and it turns out someone had been using it for an ashtray all night!! My tongue was black and stinging and the taste of ashes was in my mouth for days. YUCK!!!

When I was a kid I bit into a tomato and found a worm. (caterpillar actually). Those mice are so cute.

Rodents in Rye! But look how cute. It is only gross if you put butter on them and bite down or put them in the oven to crisp up a bit.
The grossest thing I ever HEARD of was on Anthony Bourdain. He was out in some African plane with some very primitive tribe. Many tribes in Africa have splendid dishes they prepare for guests.
Not these people. They ate food that was not really cleaned properly and still had some of the cow dung from the fire they used to cook the food on still stuck to the meat.
COME AND GET IT!!!!!
And Anthony Bourdain had to eat it because he was a guest.
