  • Most all my toys were later found out to have lead paint.

This thing, believe it or not.

I wet the suction cup and stuck it on my eye and pulled and it almost pulled my eye out.  It was filled with blood for about a week at least.

I was a genius even at 4 years old.

A football. I broke the hell outta my arm playing football. So I took up a much safer sport ------ motorcycle racing!

I'm sure your folks appreciated the sacrifice.

  • "Certainly!"  An adventurous child can make most any toy dangerous.

Bicycle ... crashed and tangled-up my leg in the frame. Couldn't walk for about three days.
Yo-Yo ... head and eye injuries are inevitable.

  • Very many. I had the original clackers that were made out of glass, had bruises all over my arms from these. I had a wood-burning kit that I used unsupervised. I had a chemistry set that could have caused a lot of problems, and quite a few others that I really can't remember right now.

I remember playing with these before everyone realized how dangerous they could be? Do they still make them?

    Jarts -- (or lawn darts)

You threw them high and far to get them in the ring
