The intellectual vanity of the "educated" left is just sickening. Most of you are just pseudo intellectual losers. Those of you that are smart are just ****s. The stupid leftists can be forgiven because they know not what they do. Those of you who are smart enough to truly know what you're doing, deserve none.
Education always just teaches the dominant philosophy of the time. In Nazi Germany universities churned out a good little Nazis. In soviet Russia the universities produced good little communists. You talk as if the educated create the establishment, but it really is the other way around. You don't have an independent thought. You're just a product made to order by a factory.

Much as agree with you that Ivory tower intellectualism is silly and counterproductive, I still agree with most intellectuals that a bit of thinking is necessesary to not make a yourself look like an idiot.
Liberalism is the dominant PHILOSOPHY in the world today. In the U.S. everyone to the right of Mao and to the left of a conservative prefers to call themselves liberal rather than socialist. The political center has swung so far left, socialist ideas are just the new normal and not even considered socialist.
That doesn't mean it is the dominant POWER in the world. The world is predominately run by fascists. It always has been and it probably always will be. Fascists use the left as pawns. All the leaders of the left are closet fascists, not true believers.
Fascists actively promote socialism because they know it taxes and regulates their competitors out of business allowing the biggest players to consolidate power. It funnels public money into corporate interests. It suppresses the middle class to prevent them ever rising to threaten the dominance of the upper class. It centralizes power into the government which the corporate establishment controls. The left are incapable of seeing this. The fascists laugh at them behind their backs.

So loooking at the speed the US middlle classes is moving towards powerty I guess the US is already run by facists. And has been for the last 30+ years. Which liberal Predident do you blame that on? Obama or Clinton ?

You make assumptions, and then use those assumption in your question as if they were facts. Not smart ;-))
Do you really think Trump is stupid? I dont. I consider him ignorant and inexperienced in areas where a US President should know better. And that is bad, almost as bad as you think it is. But keep an eye on him, he is learning, and pretty fast too.
Biggest problem I see is that his voters (and you) wont allow him to learn very much.
SIGH. You missed the entire point of the question JakobA. It was not Doofus Donny I was talking about. It was all those who voted for him/support him/defend him/adore him. Thank you for your reply. I disagree with all of it but so what? Who cares? What difference does it make? He will fire Sessions. He will replace him with a toady who does as he wishes. He wiill then fire Mueller to shut down all investigations. That is his plan. You think he is learning? I doubt that he has the capacity to learn anything. In fact I'm going to ask that question. He is the same person he was during the campaign. I see no change. I hear change. You do? Good for you. :(
Just for what it's worth.. .I genuinely believe Trump to be quite stupid.. I say that having considered the facts I have learned and his own behaviour. I say it for many reasons.. not least the fact that he got someone else to write his book, that he makes clearly stupid remarks, that he seems incapable of reading reports or listening to/considering expert advice, (to me that's a sure sign of stupidity. His business acumen is also very much in question as he has a track record of paying too much for buildings/investments and then finding he goes bankrupt... There's a trail of failed businesses behind him, and, I suspect in his future...Lastly... I think that his record of repeatedly boasting about himself, (often in the face of quite the reverse factually) - a smart man never needs to waste time and energy on boasting.. because smart people recognise other smart people.. so if he were smart then smart people would see that and he would have no need to keep trying to convince anyone.. He seems to me not to have learned much as evidenced by his repeated rants about the media and fake news and most of all his continued failures regarding diplomacy, regarding other world leaders... just the other day he made a glaringly stupid error with a Japanese lady...
