Bystander? Uninvolved with the issue at hand? Aloof? Removed from the fray? Uncaring, afraid to participate or doesn't give a rat's a**? Thank you for your reply Sbf and Happy Friday. I f their dog isn't in the fight some don't bother to get in to fight for the rights of others. I don't think that's really "innocent" unless we're talking about mentally impaired, the very young, the very old or the infirm! :)

Or simply not in the fight. I really don't think that a Podunk farmer can affect North Korea's nuclear program either way, frankly.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Though it is harder to affect what happens in another country, as you say. Especially when you are dealing with those Trump supporting dick-heads. The North Koreans would probably rebel against the regime in a second, if they had the means.
