Oh c'mon Sbf! Trump kvetches all the time. He whines and moans and groans and is so pitifully wimpy. He is always the victim.I'm not a Woody Allen fan but I can see the similarity. Ethnicity is the least of it in my opinion. It's odd that would be the first thing you'd think of though. Is it Allen's Jewishness that predominates for you?
LOL ... if you were Jewish, you would understand the angst attached to being a Jew. He writes and creates about the things about which knows and understands the most.
Ethnicity is actually a large part of the mix. Jewishness permeates his films. It's not just the whining and playing victim. It's an entire cultural way of life with which there's a strong association if you've experienced it.

It's so odd that you say that sweetie. I KNOW he is Jewish but I don't perceive him that way FIRST. I'm of Armenian descent and you know about the Jewish Holocaust and the 6 million victims of genocide at the hands of the Nazis. Well do you also know that the Armenian genocide at the hands of the Turks predates the Jewish genocide? We lost about a million and a half Armenians on death marches. Among them were my great grandfather, great grandmother and aunt Anne who was 2 years old at the time. My mom was an infant and she and my grandparents escaped to Paris. My great grandparents and aunt Anne were to follow. They never made it out. So you see I relate to the Jewish people. I identify with them and I feel close to them. They are not "the other" to me so maybe that's why it doesn't stand out for me. I'm them too. Thank you for your reply! :)
Is Trump known for pedophilia? Is he a brilliant director, musician, artist? That is what Woody Allen is known for. I don't see the man fawning over anyone to gain any power. I don't care for Woody because he IS a pervert, but I still think that he has a great mind (besides the pervert part) for how the human condition plays out on a film screen. He is a freaking genius. He is a prolific artist and Trump has about one 10th of his brain.
Besides the fact that they have zero in common.
I could see Woody Allen doing a FILM ABOUT TRUMP. It would be terrific and it would not be complimentary.
So, what she means by comparing the two of them is beyond me.

Try this. Donald Trump is like Mike Huckabee with a little more reality based awareness. But not much. And neither of them is one bit funny.
They ARE however BOTH jokes.
