Do you read the notes on flowers at funerals to see who sent what?

    Seems kinda tacky to me, unless I'm the family of the deceased.

    I thought so as well, but I was talking to someone about sending a funeral bouquet, and their only motivation to send one was, "What will people think if they don't see my name on something?" Eh.

    Lol.... but enough about the deceased. It's all about ME!

    I do fear for this world if such a person becomes our typical caretaker.

    Maybe I'd read a few, just to show interest and respect.  But not really my thing and if would probably make me cry - I am a sensitive thing who cries easily.

    No.  I can't recall the last non-Jewish funeral I attended and the Jews don't do the flower thing.  They bring food to the home after the funeral while the family sits shiva.

    no cause noone sent anything that i know of at funerals to be honest, not sure why
