Trump was using the song Here Comes The Sun at the Cleveland convention without permission and was asked to stop. There were also 2 other songs he had been using in the past without permission and was asked to stop using them too. Cheers and happy weekend!
Political events organizers do not have to ask for permission from specific artists. That is not how it works. The right to use a song(s) is given through a blanket license paid to performing rights organizations to compensate artists, publishers and songwriters for music used at public events.
Ya I think I made a mistake in saying - here comes the sun. That might of been one of the other 2 songs he was using in the past. Anyway I don't think it;s right of him to use anysong without proper permission. Cheers and happy weekend!
That doesn't seem fair (I'm a big believer in intellectual property), Cheers and happy weekend!!
Hello N:
An old country tune called, "You ripped ma heart out and stomped that sucker flat".
excon
He should stick with C&W. That crap is a staple of Republican propaganda and it's easy for the old folks to line dance to because they can hold each other up :) Yee Haw
Comb Over Beethoven
I was thinking banjo music might set the correct tone.
I have just the right tune :)
I hate to stereotype, but I can't help it. They aren't voting for Hilary, that is for darn sure.
I think a fitting song for the last almost 8 years of Obama and at least another 4 of another Clinton {If elected} could be by 'Twisted Sister', "We're not gonna take it anymore".
