Have you ever heard of anyone getting paid just to like, share and post stuff on Facebook every day?

I know this woman, she's an old friend, she's really pretty and she seems to use Facebook a lot, like every single day.
When I check in on my friends every once in a while I see that she's shared and posted a ton of stuff, always and consistently whether she gets any likes and comments or not?
I wonder sometimes if someone pays her or something?
I would never ask her that because I don't want to offend her, but I feel like telling her to try Answermug or something if she's bored, at least people reply more on q&a sites than facebook.
I'm one of her only friends who even comments on her posts.
Do you think she gets paid or just loves Facebook? Why?
What don't I understand about Facebook?

He says he doesn't believe in politics and then throws his surgical mask in the ring.  What a creep.

Well it's a good thing Forrest Trump made him HUD Secretary- being that he knows so f-ing much about it. I'm surprised he doesn't let Stevie Wonder train snipers in the military.

I'm as mad as you are.   Trump picks weak people because then they NEED him and want to keep their fake jobs.  That is as plain as anything.  I mean how could he hope to get a job in that capacity through anyone else in the world?

My husband kind of does that for a living but he basically uses Facebook for online marketing.  Other than that he has no interest in it.

That's all it is really beneficial for is to advertise one's business or career and market that way.

She probably is not getting paid, but yes, people do get paid for it. Sometimes companies will find people with huge friend lists- they're referred to as "influencers,"  and they'll pay them for making posts about their company. The amount depends on how big of an audience the person has.

There are other jobs where people get paid by the post to post within certain communities and groups. The pay is terrible. Really terrible. It is not something anyone can make a living off, but sometimes people do it because they like to post and the nickles and pennies that roll in are an extra benefit for something they'd already do.

  • Thanks, I just wonder about her sometimes and she does have a huge friends list.
I do kinda feel influenced by everything she shares.
Some of it I've even shared on Answermug like those quizzes that don't seem to give an accurate score.
I guess it is sorta like she's advertising constantly on Facebook.
    Wow, I'm falling asleep, sorry.
Thanks for the reply. : )
