    The crime rate is creeping outward from the city center. It hasn't come to our neighborhood...yet.

    I once lived in a high crime area. Gang members would limp past after being shot. Sometimes the gangs would stop cars with out-of-town visitors and pull them outta their cars and beat them and rob them.

    I live in a relatively safe area.  We had one murder a few years ago, but none recently.  What we are experiencing is a higher rate of robbery and burglary.  We have a large elderly population and they are fair game, as you know.

    Savannah Ga has one of the highest crime rates in the country. Ironically, it is also one of the biggest tourist attractions.

    HAHAHA I live on the Islands of Savannah about 9 miles halfway to the Ocean, on the Marsh with the Alligators.  The Azaleas above to the right only bloom for about three weeks in the spring and are about a five minute drive away. You cant see any of it of course because you dont live here. (sticking my tougue out at LyricalOne) ;)
