Well, he has advisors telling him what he should do. Unfortunately that means being diplomatic and investigating things before running off with the ball. But trumps self-image is macho, and that is also what many of his voters admire him for. A Strong Man, Not afraid of anything. A decider. He is proud of it. Proud of having groped a lot of girls when they could not defend themselves. A Real man. By his own kriteria for being 'real' and 'manly'.
He is an incredibly weak person JakobA. All Nancy Pelosi had to do was suggest that he tweet something to the DACA people so they would feel reassured. Minutes later he did exactly what she asked! He gave Dems Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi exactly what they wanted without getting anything for the GOP. He sided with them and is delighted with the great press he is getting for it. Of course the Republican party is less than thrilled with him but they own him and put him there so whatever he does they deserve it! Thank you for your reply JakobA! :)
