Yes must do. If I don't eat then I will feel weak and faint later on.
I'm back to doing porridge now -the stuff I used to hate when I was a kid.

Infrequently. Even when I am hungry as I am too lazy to make it.

  • That all depends on what you eat. Eating small meals regularly throughout the day can actually help you lose weight. Eating around 5 small meals a day gives your body a constant supply of fuel, boosts your metabolism and actually helps you lose weight.

  • By definition: "No" ... a meal eaten in the morning, the first of the day.

Working the night shift, most of my life, many mornings were spent sleeping.
That being said, because of working nights, I'm more than willing to eat
breakfast type foods at any meal as they are some of my favorites.

  • That's how I was when I worked at Lockheed-Martin. I worked 3 shift and usually went to bed when I got home. I like breakfast goods for dinner better than for breakfast too. :)

  • Very commendable! Most hookers do it for the money. :)

  • I did data entry. We were sub-contracted by the post office and I bar-coded mail all night. I loved that job, but the PO decided to not renew the contract one year. I miss working there.

  • Too bad it's gone. I know how sub-contracting can be though.

  • It was one of the best jobs I ever had. The pay was great and the benefits were wonderful.

No, I usually eat 5-6 hours after I wake.  I don't like food early in my day.  Coffee only.  I used to have chocolate milk every day while my coffee brewed.  I believe there were health benefits from it and am thinking about reinstating it.

  • I get up around 3:30 every morning and don't usually eat until I get to work. I'll go to the cafeteria around 8:30 to get some breakfast.

  • I think lunch is my favorite meal of the day. I can skip breakfast and have a very light dinner if I overdo lunch. :)

    I'm 66 1/2.  So always doesn't really fit me.

I was forced to eat breakfast as a child, I remember and would walk to school with a stomach ache because I wolfed down some sugary cereal and cold milk.

I normally am comfortable not eating until later in the day.  It seems that the more I start out eating, the more my body seems to keep wanting to do this all day long.

If I am in fasting mode from sleeping, I don't get hungry UNTIL I begin eating.  Not right away, but it starts a cycle of feeling hunger pains when maybe I don't need to feel them.

That is how I lost weight when I did.  I started listening to my body and not to what time I was supposed to be hungry.

That said?  I still eat large breakfasts when I am off my schedule and especially if I am in a very stressful period which I am coming out of from the last few years.

I ate a lot of breakfasts in the last few years.
