You know when you accidentally bite your tongue and it hurts so much? I wonder if cats and dogs bite their tongues sometimes?

Or do you think cats and dogs are better coordinated?  I have a sick kitty.. I have to hold his food at chin height so he will eat.. and it occurred to me I really wouldn't want him to bite his tongue and stop eating.... and then I wondered.. do they ever bite their tongues>

    One day I noticed my cat kept pawing his mouth.  Something didn't look right so I took him to the vet. The vet looked at his mouth and grabbed some tweezers and pulled his tongue up. It had been impaled by one of those fangs.
