Have you ever made/smelled freshly prepared ginger juice? Nice? What other food smells do you love?

I worked in a kitchen for 8 years.. most of the jobs were icky... like peeling 3 sacks of onions in one go, or even worse, chopping trays and trays of onions. But there was one job that was a total joy... blitzing ginger roots and then squeezing the juice out.. Loved that smell...

    I'd agree with you there.. I hate cooking.. but I do love the smell of squeezed ginger juice, oh and the smell of anything anyone else has cooked  :)

    I've ever smelled fresh ginger juice, but it seems like it might be a nice clean smell.

    I make a dish called quinoa hash. It calls for fresh diced ginger. A lovely aroma.

    Original recipe calls for quinoa and steamed potatoes, but I use cauliflower rather than the potatoes. Turmeric, ginger, sauteed onions... yum

    I think it would be heaven with a nice melted cheese on it, but I'll be darned if I don't seem to be unable to tolerate dairy any more.

    Eeek no fair... melted cheese is fabulous.. hate that there's so much that doesn't agree with us now. I am finding anything too fatty upsets me, which is a shame because they are the tastiest things!

    It is a great scent for clearing the sinuses. 

    I like clean earthy smells, like a good pine or rose.

    I had a ginger shot for the first time last week.  It was pretty good.  We ate ginger chicken for dinner tonight and that is always great.  I love the smell of ginger, steak on the grill, hamburger on the grill, chicken on the grill, and heck just the grill without anything on it but wood chips.
