I keep asking questions about the cost of Secret Service Protection for the extravagant and costly prez. Does anyone give a rat's a**?

Per USA TODAY

The Secret Service can no longer pay hundreds of agents it needs to  carry out an expanded protective mission..in large part due to the sheer size of the president's family and efforts necessary to secure the multiple residences up and down the east coast. Secret Service Director Randolph Alles said that 1000 agents have ALREADY hit the federally mandated cap for salary and overtime allowances that were meant to last the entire year. There are 42 protectees (Obama had 31) including 18 members of the Trump family. Trump has traveled almost every weekend to his properties in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia and his adult children are protected when they take business trips and vacations across the country and oversees. The Secret Service has spent $60,000 on golf cart rentals alone to Trump businesses. They pay Trump for use of things he owns while we the people pay to protect him and his large entourage.  Add to that the unnecessary  EGO TRIP rallies he holds whenever he feels the need for more love and we're in a deep hole just to assuage his very big need to be constantly petted and stroked and told just how great he is.  I present to you your president. A very expensive guy. SIGH

  • If you have to keep asking, I guess that should tell you something.

If you already know everything there is to know, then I don't know why you keep asking about it. If you want to know if anyone cares, they must or it wouldn't be information that is being reported to the public. What else is there you don't understand?

"Someone" appears dually frustrated, first because the lowly peasants don't express the same level of care about a topic she's broached continually, and then because they've failed to bow down and worship her with praise via responses to her fake queries. How foul. (Of the peasants, that is.)

  • It's a problem with the overly bureaucratic and inflated secret service.

Personally ... I would disband the Secret Service, and assign Presidential protection to the military.
There's really not that much difference between planning a military assault "beachhead" and Presidential security "beachhead".
