I thought The Pointer Sisters were singing but it was Whitney Houston . . .


For the longest time, I thought The Pointers Sisters were singing "How Will I Know?" until at some point I found out it was Whitney Houston. No doubt Whitney is great but I still think the song sounds more like a potential Pointer Sisters song. And they'd be great at it -- love those sisters!

Have you ever had the wrong artist in your head when hearing a song?

    I still have to think who sings this song any time I hear it.
    It's Shawn Mendes --  but he sounds just like Ed Sheeran here to me.
    Ed and Shawn could be interchanged and I'd not know.

    I do know I don't like the song.

    The New Radicals - - "You Get What You Give"

    I thought, and still do, that this song sounds extremely like U2  and the lead singer sounds like Bono and the song itself sounds like it'd be a U2 song
