What brand of shampoo and conditioner do you use?

I like to switch it up but right now it's Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Lavender Mint.

  • I'll just buy whatever for everyday use... usually herbal essence or something. I have another one that I buy from salon that have to use twice a week cos I get my hair highlighted and it  keeps it not going brassy or something. I forget what it's called but it's purple and expensive and I'm probably getting scammed by my hairstylist:)

---or short answer: Something  purple and whatever  I feel like when shopping:)

I was watching a infomercial  a few years ago. That was for a "cleansing conditioner" no shampoo needed. It was talking about all this stuff that is in shampoo and how it stays in it. And how this conditioner did not.
But I,  being to cheap too buy their product, decided to try it with my regular conditioner. And I was very happy with the results.  And I have used it ever since. There have been a few times when traveling, I had forgotten my conditioner and had to use shampoo and I hated the way it made my hair feel after just one use.

but does your hair/scalp feel really CLEAN????????  sounds like it'd be scary to me!!  after all, regular conditioners are not meant to cleanse the hair,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,??????

But they do clean. They just don't advertise it that way.
You should try it...personally I will never buy shampoo again. My hair just feels nasty if I have to use shampoo. If you are curious google "co-washing." This post was edited by my2cents at December 26, 2017 10:01 AM MST

I use DevaCurl products.  Yes, that's right.  It's not spelled the conventional way but I am a diva and need to use those products.

I find "no-poo" particularly important when selecting a hair care product.
