RH- cannot be a mutation because it could not have survived in a population of RH positives. An RH + mother would have aborted an RH- baby so it must have come from a population totally removed from the basic stock. The implications are profound.

Then what is it if not a mutation. The same type of mutation that allows some people to have blue, green, and hazel eyes rather than all having brown eyes.
Something other than a mutation? Neanderthal? Not the same as having different color eyes. The blood of a brown eyed mother will not abort a blue eyed baby the second time around.
