I laugh here too. Some folks are incredibly funny. Thank you for your reply Ele and Happy Monday. I used to watch Seinfeld. For a show about nothing all the actors on the show made a fortune! :)

Most of my laughter is at myself.. I don't take myself seriously.. I also laugh at my daughter and my cats when they do cute things...

((hugs)) Once again we're on the same page. I laugh at myself a lot. Jim does too. I don't TRY to be funny on purpose..at least I don't think I do Addb. Who knows what goes on at the subconscious level? Usually it's because I'm thinking about a zillion things simultaneously (that's the excuse Jim ALWAYS provides for me...sweet guy) and sometimes they trip over themselves and are manifested in odd ways. Like pouring myself a cup of coffee and leaving it on the kitchen counter by the coffeepot when I go back to the computer. I reach for my coffee and guess what? It isn't there. It's in the kitchen exactly where I left it! Now if I were Elizabeth Montgomery in Bewitched I could twitch my nose and have it float over to me. Or I leave my keys in the lockable drawer and spend hours looking for them. Repeatedly. You either laugh or cry and laughter is much more fun. Thank you for your reply Addb! :)

You mean mentally ill like Donald Trump, the clinically mentally ill Kg or are you just teasing? Your answer makes me uncomfortable if you're serious. I can't tell so if you are joking then apologies to you. Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday to thee! :)

Just joking. I Googled 'laughter' and noticed that item on Psychology Today (magazine) website.

Whew! I was pretty sure you were joking m'dear. I am not so hot at being sure when folks are joking sad-to-say. Sometimes that possibility doesn't even cross my mind and I react from my basic SERIOUS mode and then I feel pretty silly. Thank you for the explanation Kg! Geez. I just realized today is September 11! Can you believe it was 16 years ago today the US was attacked? :(

At anything funny, no matter where it is---it's a true reflection of how I evaluate what has happened initially.

I figure if you throw a big beach ball up in the air, I'm free to hit it without harming anybody.

What amuses me most is incongruities in what is said or written.

If you mean lies or hypocrisy as incongruities that is what angers me and sets me off tom. Illogic passed off as brilliance is such a crock. Lying when proof it's a lie is easily obtainable is not only stupid of the liar to do but insulting to the folks he/she/they lie to. Why do "they" think we buy the lie? I laugh at myself mostly. Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! :)

I laugh at what I personally find humorous, which is almost everything.
