    The UK version is flog a dead horse. Comes from the days when flogging was a punishment in the navy. The most extreme version was flogging round the fleet. The poor chap could well be dead by the time he was flogged on the last ship.

    I can always beat a dead horse.....I've goggled how to do it ,but found their surgestions rather pointless .... I did though finally work out my own Theroy ........but decided against trying when I also found out that dead horses seldom run any more.....,.
    i would like to point out that not all blondes are stew'pid......:(D)
