Yes. I am a vegetarian. It's just that I have been eating everything BUT vegetables. Lots of fruit and that stuff, but I needed to bulk up on salads again.
I eat a lot of different veggies when I get going. Especially love tomatoes. I eat those daily. I am trying to incorporate a lot of dark green veggies in my food.
I remember some Indian ladies cooking up some delicious fried broccoli that was dynamite.
I'm sure you make it too. It has a breading on it. I loved it. I want some.
The last one is deep fried in chick pea flour, so that's out of question;)) The second one seems right, I think I can teach you that, hope you have ingredients like chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder at home. We could proceed then;))
Umm Sharonna, I've no doubt about your cooking capability, but the third one, it is a fried food dish, and I thought that won't serve your purpose of getting a good veggie intake!
Ha ha Harry, they will push me out of the mug...;)) I'll surely mail it to you in detail, it is similiar to raw plantain fritters, in fact it can be done with eggplant and potato slices too;)) whisk together 2 cups of chick pea flour, a tea spoon of chili powder, salt according to taste and a teaspoon of hot butter, add minced garlic, whisk everything well and dip your favorite veggie ( even cauliflower like broccoli) into the batter and put in oil for deep frying. It is important to mix the batter well, not too thin, not too thick...;))
Had to hang my head out of the window in order not to drool all over the laptop. No complaints from me, though (some complaints from the usual pedestrians).
