    I assume cats have quite differen tastes than we do. Try giving yours an M&M, it probably wont eat it.

    Yes-was a recent story SPCA had received a young stray dog in starving condition and had been swallowing rocks to satiate its hunger.

    So I guess they were able to save it and get it a good home? Some years ago, I remember hearing about a horse that was so starved that it was eating sand, I think it was on the news? Things like this really tug at your heart.
