Which prez was MORE neglectful of American citizens devastated by hurricanes? Bush or Trump? Why do you think so?

There was more neglect in Katrina because the state leaders would not allow the help in to do their jobs.

What has President Trump not done that he should have?
I seen the Gov. of Puerto Rico on either CNN or Morning Joe just this morning praising President Trump again for all he has done before and after the hurricane hit.

If he is not complaining and in fact praising President Trump,  why would anyone else claim anything else? Watching too much fake news.....

I don't see anywhere in this question that implies that Trump was more neglectful so I'm not sure why you're using the usual fake news argument.

No, THIS question is not implying Trump was being more neglectful.  We aren't talking about the other questions - we are talking about THIS one.

Just reading this question implies President Trump has not done everything he can for PR....how to you ask, who is more neglectful without implying both were neglectful?
The other questions explain this one.  There is never just question.

That is the way YOU read the question because of who posted it - let's call a spade a spade.  He didn't do all he could for PR -he could have waived the Jones Act immediately the way he did for Houston and Florida.  I'm convinced that you would stick up for Trump even if he shot your dog.

The Govenor of PR took up for him. Said the President has done everything he has asked of him.

Did you really think the governor, who is totally dependent on the whims of this president, is going to go on TV and bad mouth him?  I didn't think you were that naïve.  I guess you didn't see the interview with the mayor of San Juan or some of the outlying areas.  They weren't all that happy with him.  Neither was Rep. Nydia Vasquez of New York.  Trump didn't waive the Jones Act until so many people stood up and embarrassed him into doing it.

So the words of the Gov of PR are the fake news...gotcha.
I did see part of one of the interviews...they were complaining about the Governor.
Now as I understand it the supplies are there on the island but it is damaged so much they cannot move it. But seen someone on defending saying supplies are within a mile of the people....this was on the news this morning.

It may be within a mile of the people of San Juan, but it is not within a mile from everyone else on the Island.  All you need to do is look at a map to see where San Juan is and where everything else is.  In addition, the food that is in those containers is now beginning to rot, and the medicines are being subjected to the heat, so it will be useless anyway.  And, if they don't get those 10,000 containers out of the port, they will not have room for the next shipment to unload.

If they sent food that needs refrigerated....then FEMA is stupid.
Who is in charge of inloading the port?  Does PR not have an National Guard? If they do that falls to the Governor not Trump. So there are 10000 containers filled with supplies and it is Trump's fault they have not distributed them???

PR has a small national guard but they don't have the mechanized vehicles to clear the roads that the regular army or army national guard has.  Yes one would think that if FEMA sent food that could spoil, they were stupid.  If the army national guard or the military had been sent in earlier, then those roads could have been cleared sooner, the food could have been distributed sooner and the containers could have been driven to the outlying areas sooner.

Trump has sent 10,000 Fed personal to help. It is not his fault their truckers have not came back to work. Crazy leaders are sitting complaining about supplies for the people but not sending anyone to unload docks....
Jones act not the problem if supplies not being delivered from the port. Again that is not Trump's fault.
The people should get out there and with chainsaws and clear the road.  Get to work. If its flooded use your boats....don't just sit in the shelter and cry  "We are gonna die"....the supplies are there go get it.

From what I have read it is not that roads need cleared....it is they don't have drivers....makes no sense.

    It is not his fault
    It is not his fault
    It is not his fault

Why don't you save time and just copy paste that to everything he does?

Communicating with drivers, those whose trucks have not been destroyed, is impossible with no cell/phones working.  Clearing trees from roadways requires electricity or gas - neither of which is in great supply.  Could YOU clear a tree in the road with your bare hands?  Boats have been reduced to splinters.  Are you really THAT dense?  Clearly, you have absolutely no idea of what happens when there is no way to communicate, no gas, no electricity, no generators (which are has powered), no food, no medicines or any other items that the island does not have.

All of the boats and trucks are destroyed and all the tools (hand tools: no gas required)....no I am not that dense.
I understand the situation is bad. But it is time to get it gear and do what needs done. There are no people who can drive in these shelters...I don't believe that....

Yes, I think you are that dense.  Do you think everyone with a driver's license is capable of driving a truck?  That takes a special license and where, pray tell ARE the trucks?  I'm betting most of the have been damaged.  The containers that are at the port have to be hooked up to 18-wheelers - you can't drive a container.  This is the last comment I'm making with respect to this because having this argument with you is a waste of valuable time.  Have a nice day.

Precisely why I removed her from my homepage feed. There is absolutely nothing Trump could do that she won't find a way to defend and seeing that makes me sick. The man is a disgrace, an embarrassment, vile, disgusting, dishonest, immoral and in all likelihood seriously mentally ill. Tweeting like a nitwit from the comfort of yet another weekend at his golf resort. Doesn't have a clue about what's really going on and has the unmitigated gall to once again make a dire issue all about him. Complaining about the Mayor of Puerto Rico being nasty to him when she's on the ground contending with matters of life and death. I keep thinking this has all been a bad dream and I'm going to wake up but so far no such luck.

Puerto Rico was really the final straw. Yet somehow I feel there are final straws yet to come. The man doesn't have a shred of humanity, an ounce of decency and how anyone can defend the indefensible completely boggles my mind. It's especially rich when those who claim to espouse Christian values come to his defense when everything the man does flies in the face of any positive aspect of Christianity. I'm beginning to think that those who still support him are either intellectually challenged, brainwashed or mentally ill themselves.

They said they would hire any drivers....if they can hire them..there must be a truck available to drive. I do wonder: how they got the power to have the Tshirts made that the Mayor was wearing? What a waste of resources.
