For some reason I love watching people do different accents on youtube. What is your favorite accent in the world?

I couldn't get the video I wanted to work, but could you post an example of your favorite accents?

    I like that one.
Instead of saying "All the time" do you pronounce it "Oul the time?"

I have a western Canadian one sometimes eh?
I say "How's she going and taker easy." : )

Irish. It's almost musical, as is the Gaelic language.

I'm Australian, but most of my ancestry is Irish - save for one Canuckois great-great-grandfather who bequeathed me a surname nobody can pronouce, one aboriginal great-great-great-grandmother and one ancestor with no past - he called himself "John Smith", 'nuff said.
Those Irish ancestors came from all over. Kildare, Clare, Kilkenny, Dublin, Carlingford, Derry and Tyrone among them.

  • Wow! You really traced that back huh?
My grandfather came to Canada from Russia in the 40's and bought the land I live on now,
My other grandfather was from Russia too and my grandmother was German and my other grandmother was Dutch?
I think the war was the reason most of them came to Canada and I like it here.
    Thanks. : )

Scottish, I saw your video of his accents but at the end of the day he really only had one accent regardless of who he was playing.

  • Cool.
Not sure what welsh sounds like, but I knew a girl from Australia in highschool and a woman I talked to in a store had a really thick Australian accent and I like it a lot for some reason. :
She was really pretty and the accent was really great too. : )
    Thanks.

I like Irish as many do, but I'm really in to Scots at the moment.

Clip is tribute to "Chibs", the Scottish Sgt at Arms in Sons of Anarchy.

I could listen to a British lady read a phone book aloud. Love that accent.

My wife is from Louisiana, her sweet  melodic twang STILL gets me after 29 years. My favorite.

  • Yeah I kinda think a real southern woman's accent would probably turn me on too.
There's something warm about it, you know?

  • I also like Antonio Banderas' accent, which I'm sure is regional coming from a country as large as Spain. (I couldn't find a good clip of his accent.)

  • No problem.
    He plays "Puss n' Boots."
Hope the cat clip doesn't make you too hungry Alf. : )
