What would it take for you to extend an olive branch to someone who hurt you?

    At times like this, living in "the now" seems like a great place to be.  There have been those who have hurt me in the past.  I don't dwell there.  Since offering him/her a branch would help them immediately, I would not hesitate.   I can be responsible for my feelings and my actions.  I can't be responsible for others.  What they decide to do with the rest of their life is up to them.  Hopefully they won't shoot me when I turn and ride away.
