Discussion»Questions»Human Behavior» Some folks perceive those who need Medicaid and other forms of social service financial assistance as PARASITES. Are you among them? Why?
So you have social security in your country too JakobA? Jim and I are retired and have our social security and as is true of you small investments that give us a little extra money each month. We worked our butts off for many decades and had money withheld for retirement. How that is parasitic is beyond me. I expect you have hoity toity heartless uncaring cold selfish greedy people in your country too. Ours are Republicans. What do you call yours? More's the pity. SIGH. People are the same all over the world. Thank you for your reply! :)
Of course they are. They are first in line at the trough and grab all they can while they can as they are simultaneously insulting those in need for daring to need. Jacka**es the lot of them. Very wealthy but jacka**es nonetheless. Thank you for your reply Kg and Happy Wednesday to thee! :)
Generally, I'm not. However, when I see a woman in a giant $50,000 SUV parked in a handicap space, dragging 6 screaming brats into the store, piling her cart with junk and using food stamps to pay for it...I want to puke. Also, my brother was a leach. He screwed up his life when he went AWOL from the Marines and broke into a home and burglarized it. Once he was a convicted felon he decided to hitchhike around the country, getting arrested countless times, then finally receiving SIS and Medicaid on our dime. Much of his SIS went to drugs and alcohol. He finally succumbed and died from liver failure two years ago.
Condolences. A nightmare scenario. I was in line once behind a woman who had a zillion coupons and a lot of groceries. I only a had a few so she was still in the parking lot when I went out. I expected to see a beat-up old car. Nope. A brand-new cadillac! Not kidding you. Now there is nothing inherently wrong with wanting to save money but it was the "optics" that seemed off. Thank you for your reply Ele.
