When I was in high school the football coach had arranged for a player to have sex with his wife- which she did have sex with the player- and than solicited a second player. They both pled gulity to felony charges. They were sentenced to a suspended 16 month prison term and 5 years probation and had to register as sex offenders. At the time, I lived in southern CA and the story became very popular, it was even in Jay Leno 's opening monologue of the Tonight show.

I had a science teacher who was dubbed "the mad scientist". He used to show students what not to do - by doing them. Scorched the paint off a desk by unplugging a bunsen burner while the gas tap was still open (it ignited). Cleared the lab by uncorking a bottle of butyric acid outside the fume cupboard and wafting the scent around.
When i was nine, i was talking when i should have been listening, and the teacher came over and dragged me out of the classroom by my pony tail. Back then, they didnt have a clue about ADHD kidds.
