I seldom get depressed. If I do, I start thinking about one of many subjects in my brain. I've had a lot of 'adventures' in my 64 years to recall.

I really dont let things in life bother me much. Life is to short. But when i do, i use humor and laughing as a way to get out of a funk.

To be honest, I can't recall the last time I was down in the dumps.  I don't get depressed and if I'm upset by something, I'm more likely to be angry than anything else.  Generally, a day or two later, I'm fine without doing anything in particular.

These days I do get depressed mostly due to politics and also the awful clumping of natural disasters and man-made disasters (Marie and Las Vegas most recently).  I don't get down there too often and it doesn't last too long. But there are more of them since da prez  came on board. There will be more and more and more more of them I suspect until he gets bounced/dumped/booted.  Thank you for your reply Spunky! :)

I try not to let things over which I have no control get me down.  Happy Monday, Rosie. )

I'd like the luxury of having no reason to see if it is me.
