Obviously there is something really sick if a person r*pes their own niece or brother or grandkid.

Since they are usually ignored or covered up, yes. I would not say it is nicely but often a rapist is someone you're dependent on, or others are dependent on, or love. I would not say rapists are treated 'nicely'. I am talking about domestic or familial rape so the perp is supposed to be your uncle, carer and someone who should look out for you like a son or daughter.
