    I built my own house the way I like it. It is cool in the summer and warm in the cold winter winds. It is extra well built with thick walls and extra strong trusses. The extra insulation soundproofs it well, and much of the time, I sleep right through thunderstorms. Since I have lived most of my life in trailers, (mobile homes)  I wanted something stronger and more soundproof.

    Since Hurricane Irma, I haven't had enough money to remodel (fix) my bathroom, it is torn apart there is a hole in the floor- for the toliet- it makes me very sad.

    Thank you for your concern :) The hurricane didn't damage my bathroom, but the hurricane did cause financial difficulties, that made me have to put my remodel on hold. Luckily,  I have a second bathroom.  This post was edited by ally at October 24, 2017 3:09 PM MDT

    I love my house. The walls, the location. Everything about it is perfect. My house makes me happy. :)

    No, I am happy with my house. We remodeled last winter and plan to move the laundry into the garage to add room to the kitchen. But I am happy now.
