I worked one day at a commercial laundry. Another job at a sugar beet/ sugar factory lasted 2 weeks. I was hired by the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a maintenance man, but never actually started. (perhaps a dumb choice because I coulda been retired with a nice state pension 15 years ago) I was a golf caddie as a teen, I went 9 holes and quit.
When your anxious before you go and depressed when you leave. That kind stress can lead to serious health problems, including stroke and a heart attack.
I know I have quit over 100 jobs if not more, in my lifetime. (way more, actually)
So, it depends. I have a lot of reasons, a lot of regrets and there is no one-size- fits -all answer. 25 percent of them were jobs I could KILL myself for leaving. The rest? Meh. Probably a good reason why I walked out. Waste of time, that type of thing.
