    Sure, but you might as well chose a different non-alcoholic beverage like a soda or something. I feel the same way about decaf coffee - don't understand why people enjoy drinking it.

    I like the taste of (full flavoured, ie not American) beer. If I'm driving, alcohol is a no-no, so Birell is the go-to for me. I can't understand why people enjoy drinking de-alcoholised American beer, because the alcohol content is the only reason it exists - it has no flavour.

    I like the taste of beer and get tired of soda pop (AKA sugar water).  Becks makes one that tastes like the real thing.

    One of the first non-alcoholic brews available in the States was a product named "Near Beer" (MANY years ago, now long gone).

    A friend of mine's father tried it shortly after it hit the market. He took a swig, set the bottle down, looked at the label for a few seconds and then proclaimed "Whoever named that stuff wasn't a very good judge of distance!"
