They put it in a decompression chamber (about .25 bar) and the alcohol evaporates out. That also causes it to go flat, so they put a gas charge in it, like they do with soda. Birell (Hürlimann Brewery, made under licence in Australia by Cooper's) is the only drinkable one I've come across.
We've got the equivalent of Aussie beer here in the States. But you do have to follow the horse around until the opportunity presents itself to collect it. And then it's best to ice it down, a LOT.
It doesn't taste right either. American beer is what it is but at least it isn't that over hopped pine piss the Brits like drink. PHCK IPA and Pale Ales.
