You and a friend plan to sail from Hawaii to Tahiti. 5 months later you are rescued 900 miles southwest of Japan. Weird, eh?

The two women left Hawaii in the Spring. They survived the 5 months because they had water purifiers on board and a year's worth of food. How they veered thousands of miles off course is to be determined. Jennifer Appel and Tachi Fuiaoa were rescued by the USS Ashland. Think they'll make a movie out of their adventures? Oh. Their two dogs were aboard too! Babies and animals always are good to have in a story!

    Do I think they will make a movie about 2 women and their dogs drifting across the ocean with water purifiers and a years worth of food?
    Unless they are lovers or there was a big CGI shark involved probably not. LoL. : )

    I remember a few years back a guy was found floating somewhere and he only survived because he drank his own pee, I never heard much about him after.
    Those women probably have some good stories from their travels though.
