    About 12. I was given more leeway by my mother (after the divorce) to pursue life's challenges.

    Turning 60 was a milestone. I found myself widowed after nearly 40 years of marriage. I now had to make decisions in life that I never thought I would make without my husband. I have learned much since I became a single person.
