You will live the rest of your life in The Twilight Zone. Your existence is contingent. How do you survive/stay alive?

To stay alive you must always be in someone's thoughts. Always. The moment people stop thinking about you or of you that will be the moment you die. If they think about you later it wil be too late. It must be a constant/consistent flow of being in people's thoughts. How would you insure that people would  never stop thinking about you?

My 4th (?) cousin, Franchot Tone, stars in Twilight Zone episode 61 'The Silence'.  In real life, Franchot was from a very wealthy branch of the family tree, while my branch was mostly farmers.

I remember that episode very well. He talked a lot and was bet a huge amount of money by the members of a club to which he belonged if he could stay silent for one year. He did. After the one year was up he expected to collect the money. There was none. The members didn't think he could do it and so they never seriously planned to pay. How did he do it? He had his vocal chords cut!  That was one of the more memorable episodes. He was also in a lot of movies as I recall. Wow. Did you ever meet him in person bh? Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday!  :)

I never met the guy who died in 1969 (?)  My grandmother did, at a family reunion. He only gave her a token 'hello'.  He has one son still alive today, who is (was) an investment banker in NY.

I didn't know when he died bh. I thought he was a very good actor. Thank you for the update. As far as I know there is no one famous in our family. I hope there are no murderers or thieves way back when. Some folks have done genealogy studies on their families that go back hundreds of years!  I think that's very brave! :) I'm gonna ask a question about it! :)
