    I saw several kumquat trees at a motel once. At the time I thought they were tiny lemons. That was my one and only experience with them.

    What work? You just wash the off and pop them into you mouth, complete with the peel. Then chew and swallow.

    Mandarin, tangelo, minneola, clementine, honeybell, dekopon, tangor, temple, and ugli are all the same fruit.

    It's more complicated than that. Some of those are regional or marketing names, some are complex hybrids of each other. Uglis are definitely NOT  Mandarins.
