BELIEVE ME! That is a standard part of the Donald John MO which indicates he is telling a lie. It is a LIAR'S TELL. Isn't it?

How many times have you said that to anyone in your entire life? How many times did President Obama say that? People who tell the truth do not have to IMPORTUNE you to "believe me".

    Everyone has "catch words" they prefer to use. Whether they are a liar's tell or not I don't know. Yes President Trump uses "believe me" alot. 
    President Obama used "Let me be clear" a lot.

    "Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under a McCain administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change.

     "Let me be clear, if you like your doctor or health care provider, you can keep them."

    I feel it is like a sort of  'Trump period.' End of comment, no more to say about the subject.  It is annoying.
