I'm only half-kidding. I once saw a papparazzi shot of Ms. Fox where she was going about her day without movie-set-level makeup/hair, and she reminded me a great deal of the late Michael Jackson.

Some say genius and madness go together. I think it's more the case that loony bins who also happen to be geniuses are tolerated, whereas ordinary people who do what crazy geniuses do end up dead/in prison/in a mental hospital. Alas, I cannot find the Bloom County cartoon where one character has a bizarre dream about Michael Jackson that was only slightly more surreal than Jackson's actual behavior.

TBH...if Diana Ross were younger, the resemblance would have been uncanny

Wasn't it Michael Jackson himself who had a hit with the lyric "It don't matter if you're black or white" in it? I think it was this one, wasn't it?

I doubt if it WAS slightly more surreal.  I don't think crazy of that stature was even invented until he came along.  That was his genius.  He was BAT SHIT CRAZY.  Normal crazy doesn't come near it.

Younger?  To look like he did the last 10 years or so?  She would have to have died and be dug up.  Then her nose would have rotted just enough to carry it off. 

Oh ANDY, he would be THRILLED to know a white man was playing him.  Remember the bleached skin and his lame reason for doing it?   He had a skin condition.  So he had to bleach himself.  LOL 

I bet you ANYTHING he bleached himself in spots and claimed he HAD vitaglio or whatever that condition is called then had an excuse to wipe his blackness off his body.

I am not denouncing white people playing black people. 

I am making fun of Michael Jackson.  Period.  He bleached that skin of his into white oblivion so it is funny that they need a white guy to play him.  He tore all the black out of him long before he died.  He cut off his nose, he started his hair on fire for godsakes.    He bleached his skin and wore wigs.  He was really not the best representative of BLACK people.  Or loving himself. 

Yes, I remember the bleached skin. I can't remember off the top of my head why he did that, but I don't give a fig anyway. I've long since ceased to wonder what made him do any of the things he did. He wasn't known as Wacko Jacko for nothing. Lol:)

Who said I did give a fig?    I didn't like him when he was alive and ignored him then and I still could care less.    He was a pathological liar.  That seems to be of no concern any longer in this day and age.  No one pays attention to anything any longer.

I think it matters to the extent, if the reports are true, Michael Jackson did abuse young people, and that has serious real-world consequences.

Perhaps because MJ was such a whacko, and because he was wealthy and influentical, people didn't want to believe the part of his "whackiness" that was not merely cosmetic.

Of course, as the Jerry Sandusky case showed, people don't want to believe tales of abuse when it's done by alleged "pillars of the community" either, so maybe I'm all wet here.

You still could care less? That means you must care to some degree, doesn't it? Otherwise it doesn't make sense from a logical point of view, does it?

Old, I went ON AND ON about this issue on Answer Bag.  I believed he was guilty as sin.  But I am not sure because I was NOT there.  There is plenty of evidence that he was guilty.  But?  I was not there.

I read several books on the subject and I must admit some of the stuff has been debunked. But was it debunked because it was a lie or did Michael Jackson's people get on it and shut it up?  I don't know. 

I DO know that he was higher than a kite most days for the last 2 decades. That I do know and if you have a propensity for young flesh, those drugs may make you act inappropriately.  Maybe he didn't even molest anyone. But he did have them in his bed HIGHER THAN A KITE.  That had to be a tad dysfunctional to say the least.

I also know for a fact that witnesses testified and he admitted giving alcohol to a 14 year old boy while in the air on a plane while  he was touring God knows where and was supposed to be the adult supervisory person on that plane.  That was WRONG. 

Supposedly that kid was molested by him as well, but I was not there.  RIP Michael and if you did molest those kids, I almost forgive you because you were totally out of your gourd whether you drank or drugged or were totally normal.  He was pretty  NUTS. 

And he was kind of a jerk too.  No matter what Elizabeth Taylor or Marlon Brando say.
